Events & payloads
poolse tells the outside world about things in three ways. Each has its own reference.
| Channel | Goes to | Use it for | Reference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Webhooks | Your backend, as signed HTTPS POSTs | Syncing your database, moderation, analytics, your own notifications | Webhook events |
| Push notifications | Your users' phones, through APNs and FCM | Ringing a phone for a call, chat notifications, missed calls | Push payloads |
| Realtime socket | Your app while it is open | Live UI: new messages, typing, read receipts, call banners | Realtime reference |
All three describe the same events, and none of them is replayed. A webhook delivery is retried until it succeeds or runs out of attempts. A push is sent once. A socket event reaches only clients connected at that moment. Your source of truth is always the REST API.
